On the evening of Monday, February 15, 2021 Boat 6 was dispatched for Mutual Aid to Seventh District to provide water supply for a working house fire. Boat 6 arrived on the scene and established the secondary water supply. The crew utilized 100' preconnected line to assist with interior extinguishment and mop up. The Boat Crew also assisted with overhaul. According to Seventh District Volunteer Fire Department, the initial dispatch was for a chimney fire with possible extension to the attic. All occupants were safely evacuated prior to arrival. This incident is being investigated by the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
