| At 1152 hours on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 Engine Company 6 was alerted to the working commercial building fire at 11050 Crain Highway. Engine 143 was on the scene with heavy smoke and light fire conditions in the laundry room. Engine 61 responded with five and the Captain. While enroute Chief 14A assigned the task of checking for extensions to side (C) charley. Engine 61's crew along with the Charles County Sheriff's Department standing by went room by room to find a light odor of smoke with no extensions to the surrounding apartments. Engine Company 6 assisted with the ventilation of the building and all units went in service at 1307 hours. |
