On November 5, 2026, members of the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department and EMS participated in a hands-on live-fire training exercise involving two vehicles.
This training provided our firefighters with valuable hands-on experience in vehicle fire suppression, fire behavior, hose line deployment, extinguishment techniques, and scene safety.
Members were able to work in realistic fire conditions while sharpening the skills and tactics needed to safely and effectively operate at vehicle fire incidents.
Training like this is an important part of maintaining readiness and ensuring our members are prepared to answer the call when our community needs us.
Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank everyone who helped coordinate this training and made the vehicles available for our members to use.
Train hard. Stay ready. Serve our community.
