Crews arrived to find a large tree on the power lines, creating an active hazard.

🚧 As of now, Hatton Creek Rd remains CLOSED with no estimated time of restoration.
Pennline is currently on scene awaiting SMECO to safely shut off the power before removal can begin.

CIVFD units secured the area and have turned the scene over to Pennline. Our volunteers remain ready should additional support be needed.

⚠️ Never drive over or near wires, even if they appear inactive.
📞 Report any emergencies to 911.
