🌊🚤 This morning, Boat 6, Boat 6A, and several of our Surface Water Rescue Technicians supported the Colonial Beach Triathlon alongside regional partners. While most swimmers were racing to the finish line, a few needed a hand getting there, and our team was ready.

✅ Several swimmers who couldn’t complete the course safely were assisted back to shore without injury.

🐬 But the real surprise? A pod of dolphins decided to crash the race and swim alongside participants, no registration fee needed! At one point, they were even outpacing some of the competitors. Call it aquatic mutual aid.
