On Thursday morning, an automated message was sent to citizens requesting assistance in gathering video footage that could assist in ongoing search efforts for a missing person. As a reminder...

Units from Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department & EMS, various other VFD & EMS Departments, Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police, and several private citizens are continuing to actively search for a missing waterman in the Potomac River. We are asking all citizens that have security cameras on the waterfront to check their footage from Wednesday afternoon starting at approximately 3pm to assist with our search efforts. The boat was a blue 22ft C-Hawk with a white hard top with 1 soul on board.

The Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department & EMS, as well as the family, greatly appreciate the outpouring of support and many offers received to provide assistance.

Anyone that has information can contact the Command Post at the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department & EMS at 301.259.4258.
