The Officers and Members of the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department and EMS and Auxiliary offer our sincere heartfelt condolences to Past Chief Chuck Shaw and his family for the untimely passing of his son CJ Shaw.

CJ was a great Son to Chuck and Karen, Husband to Tricia, Father to his beautiful children Kaleigh, Alyssa, Payton, Carson, Canton and Charley also a Uncle to Derrick and Tony. CJ loved his family unconditionally and was a mentor to his children.

CJ was a graduate of La Plata High School in 1998 and he loved playing football.

CJ will be dearly missed and we will always keep your family in our hearts and prayers during these tough times.

Following the Interment the family is asking anyone who wishes, may attend the Repass at Newburg VRS and FD. Also, any department that would like to donate deserts, sandwiches, or snacks, it will be greatly appreciated.
