According to the American College of Surgeons, the number one cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding.
Many of our dedicated members participated in Continuing Education training during a STOP THE BLEED class.
Members learned techniques to stop bleeding using tourniquets, seals, and methods of applying pressure. These techniques could very well be what is used to save a life. EMT's, Firefighters, and Administrative members participated in the training.
