Cobb Island VFD and EMS will be holding Fire Prevention on Sunday, October 18th, 2020 from 12pm - 3pm at the Cobb Island firehouse. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we will be doing a drive-thru approach this year to ensure the safety of not only our community, but also our volunteers.

Please remember when attending it is important to practice social distancing and it is required to wear a mask. We are asking anyone that is attending to remain in their vehicles; you will be directed throughout the different stations.

We will be having the following demonstrations:
1. CPR – You can save a life!!
2. Fire Extinguishers – how to effectively use a fire extinguisher
3. Vehicle Extrication – get a firsthand look at how firefighters cut a car apart to get to a patient
4. 911 – When should I call and what should I know?
5. Fire Gear – what it consists of and how it is worn
6. Smoke Detectors – ABC’s
