The Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department and EMS, Inc. hosted a MARYLAND BOATER SAFETY COURSE on Monday, June 5th and Tuesday, June 6th, 2017. There were 13 individuals in attendance and all were successful in completing the requirements for the course.

Thank you to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources for the course materials and to Captain Wes Jackson for instructing the class!

As a friendly reminder...
In Maryland, the law states that anyone born on or after July 1, 1972, must possess a certificate of boating safety education in order to operate any motorized vessel.
