| On April 9, 2012 at 0001 hours Station 6 was alerted for a single family house fire on Forest Drive. Engine 61, Engine 62, Tanker 6, Ambulance 68 and Chief 6 responded with 14 volunteers. Engine 61 and Chief 6 arrived on the scene of a one story single family home with fire showing from Bravo side. Engine 61 advanced the 200' attack line to the house while Chief 6 did a walk around to find fire throughout the home. Chief 6 established command and assigned Chief 14B with Division 1 and Chief 10A with Safety. Engine 61's crew made an aggressive attack while Squad 10's crew conducted a primary Search and ventilated. Engine 143's crew advanced the 350' back up line to the home and completed a secondary search. A constant water supply was established. CIVFD Auxiliary provided refreshments. Crews worked on the scene for approximately 3 hours. |
