The Officers and Members of the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department and EMS and Auxiliary are proud to announce that we will be holding a Building Dedication Ceremony for the Station on Sunday, November 15, 2009 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. The dedication ceremony will begin promptly at 2 p.m. During this time we will also be dedicating four pieces of apparatus to four well deserving individuals.
This is a long awaited start of a new beginning and a new home for the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department and EMS and Auxiliary. This is a state of the art facility, in which we will be better able to serve our community. It would not have been possible without the effort and dedication of our members.
The facility is equipped with the following: Fire and EMS Control Room Administrative Office Operational Chief's Office Fire Division Office EMS Division Office Training Room/Meeting Room Male and Female Living Quarters Members Lounge Members Kitchenette Members Exercise Training Room Four Drive Through Bays EMS/Decon Room Event Kitchen Emergency Generator
We would like to extend an invitation to the surrounding community residents and business owners. And also to the Fire and EMS service of Charles County.
