At 2053 hours Station 6 was alerted for a Structure Fire with possibly people trapped in the 12300 block of Neale Sound Drive in Cobb Island.

Chief 6 arrived on scene with a one story single family home with heavy fire showing on side Charlie. Chief 6 established the Command and confirmed no one was trapped.

Engine 61 was first arriving Engine. Engine 61’s crew stretched a line through the front door to make an aggressive attack on the fire.

Tanker 6 picked up Engine 61’s line while Rescue Engine 62 established the water supply draft site at a local marina. Boat 6 arrived on scene and established a secondary draft site and supplied the fire ground for the duration of the incident.

Chief 10B had interior and Chief 1B had Safety.

Squad 10 and Truck 1 completed primary and secondary searches of the structure.

Overhaul was completed after the fire was knocked by all crews on the scene.

Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the fire.

Ambulance 68 and 69 handled Rehab.

CIVFD Auxiliary handled refreshments.
