Maryland Boater Safety Course Offered

The Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department and EMS, Inc. will be hosting a MARYLAND BOATER SAFETY COURSE on Monday, June 5th and Tuesday, June 6th, 2017. Class will be held each evening from 6 pm to 9 pm in the training room at the Cobb Island Volunteer Fire Department and EMS, Inc. This is a two session course and both sessions must be attended to receive successful completion.

This course is being offered as Public Safety Education and is FREE to the public. Space is limited; advance registration is strongly recommended. All course materials will be provided. Please contact Wes Jackson at 301.536.6392 or e-mail captainwesjackson@yahoo.com to register.

In Maryland, the law states that anyone born on or after July 1, 1972, must possess a certificate of boating safety education in order to operate any motorized vessel.
