On February 14, 2016 at approximately 1511 hours, Engine Company 6, EMS 6 and PA 149 was alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident with Rollover and One reported Ejected at Cobb Island Road and Rock Point Road.

Rescue Engine 62, Engine 61, Ambulance 69, PA 149, Chief 6A and Chief 6 responded. Several members from Cobb Island VFD and EMS were in the area when they heard the crash and called 911. They were the first Fire Department members on the scene and started patient care. Chief 6A was in the area and arrived moments later after the call was dispatched and assumed the command.

Chief 6A arrived on scene with one SUV on its side with two patients with evidence of rolling several times and striking a telephone pole. One patient was extricated by first responders on scene. The second patient self extricated herself prior to units arriving on the scene.

The two patients were evaluated by EMS crews on the scene. Units on scene requested a Medevac to area Trauma Centers. MSP Trooper 7 was dispatched and enroute. Engine 61 handled the landing site at Breeze Farm Recycling Center.
