Cobb Island volunteers alerted for a daytime motor vehicle accident in the area of Rock Point Road and Wilson Road. Units arrive to find a pick-up truck into a tree. Due to the damage and nature of the accident, the decision was made to medevac the occupant of the vehicle to a trauma center. The patient was extricated by crews and transported to Breeze Farm Recycling Center where the patient was transferred to Maryland State Police Trooper 7 helicopter for transport to a Prince George’s Hospital Trauma Center.
