Miss Fire Prevention Queen, Junior Miss Fire Prevention Queen and Junior Fire Chief Selected

On April 30, 2013 the Cobb Island VFD and EMS held interview process for selecting this years new upcoming:

Miss Fire Prevention Queen
Junior Miss Fire Prevention Queen
Junior Fire Chief

Queen applicants were interviewed one at a time by a panel of Judges and were asked specific questions in reference to Fire Prevention. Junior Fire Chief applicants names were placed in a bucket and were picked one at a time to fill the positions. After interviewing and drawing a name the following applicants were chosen:

Miss Fire Prevention Queen - Karlie Kilinski

Junior Miss Fire Prevention Queen - Carly Rodgers

Second Runner Up Junior Miss Fire Prevention Queen - Brianna Harley

Junior Fire Chief - Collin Lawman

Second Runner Up Junior Fire Chief - Brian Harley

Third Runner Up Junior Fire Chief - Braylon Harley

This was the first year for the department to offer the position of Junior Fire Chief.

We would like to congratulate the winners and all the individuals that submitted applications.
